The Rusty Pipes are a motivated group of a cappella singers. A cappella ensembles make use of voices but no instrumental backup. Collegiate a cappella groups usually perform contemporary music, like you'd hear on the radio, done completely with vocals, drums and all.

We are completely self-managed and self-funded. Most members of the Rusty Pipes are students at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

We travel as well as sing at shows at home. In the past, we have had a very large and well-attended show each semester, as well as smaller shows. We also do a winter tour of local and not-so-local high schools for a week in December to travel, raise money, and have fun!

The Rusty Pipes is all about making great music, having fun, and putting on a great show for our fans. Click the links above for more info on our history and our name!
